Heading Font Styles & Search Engines.

The red text above is a Heading. Most of the top search engines presume that anything that you say in an emphasized text style must be more important than other text on the page and therefore weighs it more heavily when determining your site's subject matter.

Heading fonts should be used in place of graphic files as paragraph headings because a search engine has no way of determining the content of a graphic file. Text also downloads a lot faster than graphic files resulting in a faster web page.
